Today our SRO, Officer Terrell, lead an assembly about Online Safety. He talked about online scams and "red flags", prevention and safety skills when it comes to accounts., and cyberbullying and the potential of mental health problems. He also discussed Social Media/Video Game safety in reference to accounts and not sharing personal information. His last topic was about the dangers of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Hoy, nuestro Oficial de Recursos Escolares (SRO), el oficial Terrell, dirigió una asamblea sobre seguridad en línea. Habló sobre las estafas en la red y las "señales de alerta", sobre la prevención y las medidas de seguridad relativas a las cuentas de usuario, así como sobre el ciberacoso y el riesgo de problemas de salud mental. También abordó la seguridad en las redes sociales y en los videojuegos, haciendo hincapié en la gestión de las cuentas y en la importancia de no compartir información personal. As a MAPS Incentive, all student that improved or stayed the same on their Spring MAPS tests were able to Tattoo a Teacher during their celebration. Great Job Warriors!

There will be a student section tomorrow near our assigned area!! We encourage students from the high and middle schools to sit in these areas to cheer for your WARRIORS. Sitting here is highly encouraged but not required.

We encourage students who would like to sit in the section to arrive early. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The theme is PINK OUT. Wear as much pink!

The Warriors play against Lexington on Saturday at 7:30.

From circuits to solutions! Our STEM students are getting hands-on with a lot of Arduino Uno robotics’ projects today, learning how to code the technology that powers our world. It’s amazing to see these ideas come to life one wire at a time, which include a traffic light, lights in a dark street, an electronic piano, a parking assistant system, a mini T.V. through LCD, a potentiometer-controlled LEDs dimmer, household switches/buttons, Christmas lights, a clap-activated light switch through a sound sensor, and a house intruder detector.
