I want to congratulate everyone on the first week of our Warriors Walk to Iowa Challenge! It’s been so much fun to see staff members and community members all working together toward our goal of reaching Iowa. 🥾☀️
This week, we had a total of 2,063,166 steps taken — that’s 1,032 miles! Absolutely incredible! 👏👏👏

Mrs. Vavrina's class has been learning about the Five Senses. To finish up our learning the students wrote about their favorite sense and then presented it to the class!
Mrs. Brabec’s and Miss Wolfe’s classes got together on their activity day for completing their CKLA Reading Unit about Fairy Tales and Tall Tales!
They read the Tall Tale: Paul Bunyan - where he eats a huge flapjack🥞- so they got to enjoy some flapjacks! 🥞
Another story they read was the Fairy Tale: Beauty and the Beast 👸🏼- so they got to watch the movie as a part of their activity day! The students compared the book and the movie and noticed all the similarities & differences! What a fun day! 👌🏽
