It’s time to sign up for Summer EBT! Dear parents and families, We're reaching out to share important information about the Summer EBT program. It’s just one program that can help families access healthy food over the summer. What is Summer EBT? Summer EBT provides an extra $120 per school-aged child for groceries during summer break. Last year, this program helped over 175,000 Nebraskan children access nutritious food while they were out of school! Check to see if you’re eligible for Summer EBT You are eligible if your household is at or under 185% of federal poverty guidelines. Most eligible families on SNAP, ADC, FDPIR, or Medicaid are automatically enrolled, but others (like you!) may qualify too. Check here bit.ly/NE-SEBT-eligibilitychecker to see if you are eligible and need to sign up. It’s quick and easy. Sign up for Summer EBT today! You can sign up at bit.ly/NE-SEBT-application. Summer EBT works alongside other programs like Summer Meals to ensure Nebraskan children have access to nutritious food year-round. Mrs. Allgood’s class enjoyed Ag.Literacy Day in Leigh this morning! We learned about the importance of farming, all the different things corn is used for, how technology is very important to farmers and many other fun facts about agriculture! Thank you to the teachers and students who worked hard to put this on! It was a great experience for our students!

Due to Schuyler Elementary not being in session this week, there will be a change to our bussing schedule. We will run two busses, both from Lonnie'sTrailer Court as usual, one bus will drop off at the High School and the other bus will drop off at the Middle School. Afternoon return routes will only deliver back to Lonnie's Trailer Court. There will be no bussing to and from the Preschool this week.

Thank you to everyone who helped with today endurance run, especially the high school track athletes that came down to cheer on the future Warriors. The kids really ran well even with a bit of a breeze. Overall 5 new school records and 5 second place all time scores were achieved today!!! Congratulation's to our new record holders 4th graders Abelardo A and Braeh Y, 2nd graders Julian L and Leilani S and kindergartner Dian C!

Reminder the elementary endurance run will be on Wednesday April 9th for all students grades K-5th. Make sure dress your child in something they are comfortable running in. They will run during their specials time so older grades may want to bring a jacket as they run first thing in the morning .
