🐒🦁 Zoo Week at Preschool! 🦓🐘 It was Zoo Wee Week at preschool, and the students in Mrs. Lopez’s class had so much fun learning all about zoo animals! The children enjoyed exploring different animals and got creative by making their very own monkey masks. What a fun and exciting week of learning and imagination! 🐒🦁 Zoo Week en el preescolar! 🦓🐘 Fue Zoo Week en el preescolar, y los estudiantes de la clase de la Sra. López se divirtieron mucho aprendiendo sobre los animales del zoológico. Los niños disfrutaron explorando diferentes animales y se pusieron creativos haciendo sus propias máscaras de mono. Fue una semana llena de aprendizaje y diversión!

This week in Miss. Alarcon’s class we learned all about zoo animals 🦁🐒 and made some adorable zoo animal art! This week in Mrs. Macaluso's class, we were learning about shapes! One day we learned all about triangles. We were able to take different sized sticks and make our own triangles. We made sure each one had 3 sides and 3 corners! ¡Esta semana en la clase de la Sra. Macaluso, estábamos aprendiendo sobre formas! Un día aprendimos todo sobre los triángulos. Pudiste tomar palos de diferentes tamaños y hacer nuestros propios triángulos. ¡Nos aseguramos de que cada uno tuviera 3 lados y 3 esquinas!

🎨🐯 It’s an exciting week in Mrs. U’s class! Students are exploring color concepts, creating AB patterns, and creating zoo animals as part of our “At the Zoo” art theme. 🎨🐯 ¡Es una semana emocionante en la clase de la Sra. U! Los estudiantes están explorando conceptos de color, creando patrones AB y creando animales del zoológico como parte de nuestro tema de arte “En el Zoológico”.

It’s an active week in Mrs. U’s class! Our preschoolers are moving like animals and learning that staying active keeps us healthy. They’re also having fun with Winter Animals art. Es una semana activa en la clase de la Sra. U! ¡Nuestros niños y niñas de preescolar se están moviendo como animales y aprendiendo que mantenerse activos nos mantiene saludables! También se están divirtiendo con el arte de Animales de Invierno.

Andy Mateo is Central Conference champion at 113 lbs! Congratulations Andy!

Lauren Wemhoff got her 100th career pin at the conference tournament in Aurora today. The match lasted 16 seconds and was a fitting way to reach such an amazing milestone. Congratulations Lauren!

Miss Alarcon’s class ended the year with so many fun memories and activities! We enjoyed Polar Express Day, Grinch Day, and Cookies with Parents. Thank you to all the parents who came and celebrated with us. We are excited to begin this new year with more learning, fun, and creating special memories together!” La clase de la maestra Alarcón terminó el año con muchos recuerdos y actividades divertidas. This week in Mrs. Lopez’s class, we learned all about the importance of moving our bodies and staying active! The kids had so much fun getting their wiggles out through dancing and playing basketball 🏀💃 For art, children enjoyed getting creative in by making their very own polar bears ❄️🐻‍❄️ Esta semana en la clase de la Sra. López, aprendimos sobre la importancia de mover nuestros cuerpos y mantenernos activos. Los niños se divirtieron mucho bailando y jugando baloncesto 🏀💃 En arte los niños disfrutaron creando sus propios osos polares ❄️🐻‍❄️

Tonight the Warrior boys and girls basketball teams travel to Lexington for Round 1 of the Central Conference Tournament. Boys play at 5:00 and Girls follow at 6:30. Go Warriors!

This week, Mrs. U’s class learned all about Eating Well 🥕🍎 and made snowmen portraits of themselves ⛄🎨! Preschool fun at its best!  ¡Esta semana, la clase de la Sra. U aprendió sobre la alimentación saludable 🥕🍎 y creó retratos de sí mismos en forma de muñecos de nieve ⛄🎨! ¡Diversión preescolar en su máxima expresión!

This week in Mrs. Lopez’s class, we learned all about eating well and the five food groups. The children explored where different foods belong by sorting grains, fruits, vegetables, proteins, and dairy into the correct categories. They also had lots of fun during art time creating adorable penguins and experimenting with puffy paint. It was a week full of learning, creativity, and hands-on fun! Esta semana en la clase de la Sra. López, aprendimos sobre la alimentación saludable y los cinco grupos de alimentos. Los niños clasificaron una variedad de granos, frutas, verduras, proteínas y lácteos en las categorías correctas. También se divirtieron mucho en arte creando un pingüino y usando pintura inflable. Fue una semana llena de aprendizaje, creatividad y diversión!

Mrs. Macaluso's class was busy creating and learning through play. They practiced being teachers in our school, building structures, and organizing cities. They have also been enjoying looking at animals, life cycles, space and dinosaurs in our viewfinders. La clase de la Sra. Macaluso estaba ocupada creando y aprendiendo a través del juego. Practicaron como profesores en nuestra escuela, construyendo estructuras y organizando ciudades. También han estado disfrutando viendo animales, ciclos de vida, espacio y dinosaurios en nuestros visores.

Congratulations to the Warrior wrestlers! Both the boys and girls teams came away with a victory in their duals against Seward. And thank you to our seniors on Parents Night for representing Schuyler with class. Go Warriors!

Mrs. U's class learned about “Healthy Me.” Through storytelling and pretend play, they learned how doctors help people and animals stay healthy. They also enjoyed a fun art activity, “Let it Snow.” La clase de la Sra. U aprendió sobre “Saludable Yo.” A través de cuentos y juego de simulación, aprendieron cómo los médicos ayudan a las personas y a los animales a mantenerse saludables. También disfrutaron de una divertida actividad artística, “Que nieve.”
