In December, Mrs. Lopez’s wrapped up the year with our wonderful Cookies with Parents celebration, and it truly filled our center with warmth, joy, and community spirit. 🍪✨ We are so grateful to our families for their support and involvement. Moments like these remind us how important our school family truly is. As we step into the new year, we look forward to continued growth, learning, and exciting experiences ahead! 🎉

We had lots of fun this week seeing friends, getting back into our routines and creating lots of wintertime art. ¡Feliz Año Nuevo de parte de la clase de la Sra. Macaluso! Nos divertimos mucho esta semana viendo amigos, volviendo a nuestras rutinas y creando mucho arte de invierno.

This week in Mrs. U’s class, our preschoolers learned important safety rules! 🚦 They practiced indoor road safety with a pretend crosswalk, took part in a bus safety drill, and had lots of winter fun in art. 🎨❄️☃️ ¡Esta semana en la clase de la Sra. U, nuestros pequeños aprendieron importantes reglas de seguridad! 🚦 Practicaron seguridad vial dentro del aula con un paso de peatones simulado, participaron en un simulacro de autobús y se divirtieron mucho en arte de invierno. 🎨❄️☃️

Hello Youth Sports Parents and Families!
Due to a scheduling conflict, there was a change for the Youth Softball schedule. All practices will be on Tuesdays, starting on January 20. Please check the Schuyler Community Schools website, in the Youth Sports section for the updated schedule. Thank you!

This week was packed with lots of fun activities in Mrs Macaluso's class. We had Polar Express Day, Ugly Sweater Day, Grinch Day, and ended the week with Cookies with Santa! We are so thankful that our families could join us for some fun! Esta semana estuvo llena de actividades divertidas en la clase de la Sra. Macaluso. The “Share the Warmth” Coat Closet, located at 821 Denver Street, will be closed on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. It will be open for regular hours, Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 through January. Anyone needing warm clothing is welcome to visit the Coat Closet.
El ropero solidario “Share the Warmth”, ubicado en 821 Denver Street, permanecerá cerrado en Nochebuena y Nochevieja. Abrirá en su horario habitual, los lunes y miércoles de 3:00 a 5:00, durante todo el mes de enero. Todas las personas que necesiten ropa de abrigo son bienvenidas a visitar el ropero.

Mrs. U’s class is getting into the holiday spirit! 🎄 This week our young learners showed their creativity by making ornaments for our classroom Christmas decorations. ¡La clase de la Sra. U se está poniendo en espíritu navideño! 🎄 Esta semana, nuestros pequeños aprendices mostraron su creatividad haciendo adornos para las decoraciones navideñas del aula.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Mrs. Macaluso's class has been working on lots of holiday activities and art projects! We are even working on something special for our grownups! ¡Empezando a parecerse mucho a la Navidad! ¡La clase de la Sra. In Mrs. U’s class this week, our preschoolers happily shared their family photos with the class, as this month’s theme is My Family and Friends. They were also learning letters and used magnifying glasses to search for C, c, E, and e on magazine pages. In addition, they had a great time exploring different modes of transportation for their art activities. Esta semana en la clase de la Sra. U, nuestros niños de preescolar compartieron con alegría las fotos de sus familias con la clase, ya que el tema de este mes es Mi Familia y Amigos. También estuvieron aprendiendo las letras y usaron lupas para buscar las letras C, c, E y e en páginas de revistas. Además, se divirtieron mucho explorando diferentes medios de transporte para sus actividades de arte.
