The SMS track team had a great practice this morning and even had some fun celebrating Michael's birthday. Way to show up and work hard track athletes!

6th Grade March Students of the Month - The sixth grade teachers focused on perseverance for the month of March. We looked for kids who exhibited the skill of pushing through on difficult tasks both at home and in school. The following students were chosen: Erick, Sebastian, Kevin, Micheli, Jasmine, and Josie. / Estudiantes del Mes de 6.º Grado de Marzo: Los maestros de sexto grado se enfocaron en la perseverancia durante marzo. Buscamos niños que demostraron la capacidad de superar tareas difíciles tanto en casa como en la escuela. Los estudiantes seleccionados fueron: Erick, Sebastián, Kevin, Micheli, Jasmine y Josie.

SMS State Testing / exámenes estatales de SMS
The UNL Immigration Clinic will be at SCHS on April 2. Please sign up for a meeting in the SCHS office or by calling (402) 352-2421. They will be here from 8:30a.m. until 11:30a.m. to meet with individuals to provide legal advice on their immigration cases. Individual students may be accompanied by their parent(s) or other legal guardian. In order to meet with the immigration clinic, you must have signed up for a meeting time beforehand.
If you sign up for a meeting, please make sure you bring these items if you have them: EAD (work card), a personal email address (not your school email), date you entered the U.S., any immigration papers or forms you have, your passport (foreign or U.S.), the name of your attorney if you have one, and your phone.
Due to continued weather conditions, Schuyler Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 20th 2025. All activities tomorrow are cancelled.

SMS Track will be having our sign-up meeting on Monday, March 17th. Our first practice will be on March 24th. Excited to get it rolling!
Dear Parents, we are watching the weather closely. As of now, the snow is expected to start falling in Schuyler around 11:00 p.m. and through the overnight hours. Please be aware we may not be able to make a decision regarding school being in session until early Friday morning. As always, if there is no announcement made, school is in session as planned.
