SMS Volleyball Warrior Queens of the Week: Marissa and Eva! Each week we have one 7th and one 8th grader crowned as the “Warrior Queen” for the week. Girls work all week to earn points from challenges, drills, leadership, effort, etc. for their chance to become the Warrior Queen of the Week. At the end of the week the girls with the most points in each grade are crowned.

Results from the 8th grade volleyball games at Walnut Middle School : 8C - lost a close match in 3 sets. It was a really exciting match with some really great serving. Deysi served 6 in a row and Ahilyn served 9 in a row. 8B - won a close 3 set match! After a really slow start in set 1, they played an outstanding set 2 and set 3. Alizon served 10 in a row! 8A - lost in 2 sets. The girls worked well together and overcame some challenges that were thrown at them at the last minute. We had three players, Gisele, Liset, and Alizon, really step up when we needed them to. Grace had some great saves and serves throughout the game.

Back in its rightful home! Schuyler Middle School defended their crown by defending the Yell Cup at today’s Fall Pep Rally at Schuyler Central High School. GO SMS!

SMS Spirit Week Dress Up Days
