Attention Families!

As we prepare for the upcoming preschool and kindergarten school year, some children may be eligible to take an Early Entrance to Kindergarten assessment.
If your child turns 5 years old between August 1st and October 15th, they may qualify to participate in this assessment to determine possible early entrance to kindergarten.
If you are interested, please contact Monserrat at 402-352-2628 to schedule an appointment!
Requests must be made on or before April 17th, 2026.

Mientras nos preparáramos para el próximo año escolar de preescolar y kínder, algunos niños podrían ser elegibles para tomar la Evaluación de Entrada Temprana a kínder.
Si su hijo/a cumple 5 años entre el primero de agosto y el 15 de octubre, puede calificar para participar en esta evaluación y determinar una posible entrada temprana a kínder.

Up, up, and away! ✈️ Mrs. U’s class had a fun week exploring air travel. Students decorated paper airplanes and flew them! They also created beautiful weather-themed art 🌈☁️🌧️. Learning through play every day! ¡Arriba, arriba y a volar! ✈️ La clase de la Sra. U tuvo una semana divertida explorando los viajes aéreos. Los estudiantes decoraron aviones de papel y luego los hicieron volar. También crearon hermosas obras de arte con el tema del clima 🌈☁️🌧️. ¡Aprendiendo a través del juego todos los días!

Congratulations to our Second Semester Honor Roll Students at SCHS!!

This week, Mrs. Macaluso's class was able to go over to the elementary school to visit kindergarten. We saw the school, met the teachers, made some new friends and played on the playground. We are looking forward to starting a new adventure in kindergarten next year! Esta semana, la clase de la Sra. Macaluso pudo ir a la escuela primaria para visitar el jardín de infantes. Vimos la escuela, conocimos a los profesores, hicimos nuevos amigos y jugamos en el patio de recreo. ¡Estamos deseando comenzar una nueva aventura en el jardín de infantes el próximo año!

The Warriors took home the trophy at the Central Nebraska Pinnacle Cup with a 2-1 victory over Lexington! Congratulations Warriors!!

Congratulations to Jason Barrios! Jason placed 4th in Extemporaneous Speaking and 6th in Informative Speaking at State Speech in Kearney on March 28th. Warrior Pride!!

This week in Miss. Alarcon’s class, we celebrated the 100th day of school with a fun pizza party! 🍕 We also made our own kites and had a great time testing them outside. So many fun learning moments and happy smiles this week! ☀️🪁 Esta semana en la clase de la Miss Alarcon celebramos el día número 100 de clases con una divertida fiesta de pizza 🍕. También hicimos nuestros propios papalotes y los probamos afuera 🪁☀️. ¡Tuvimos muchos momentos divertidos de aprendizaje y muchas sonrisas esta semana! 😊

Mrs. U’s Class celebrated 100 Days of School! 🎉🍕 Pizza, “Spring Things” art, and exploring early literacy and math skills. 100 days smarter and blooming with joy! ¡La clase de la Sra. U celebró 100 días de escuela! 🎉🍕 Pizza, arte de “Cosas de Primavera” y explorando habilidades iniciales de lectoescritura y matemáticas. ¡100 días más inteligentes y floreciendo con alegría!

Mrs. Lopez's class loved celebrating the 100th day of school! 🎉 Students got creative designing their own kites and were so excited to take them outside and watch them soar. It was a day full of smiles, creativity, and outdoor fun! 🪁 La clase de Mrs. López le encantó celebrar el día número 100 de clases! 🎉 Los estudiantes se pusieron muy creativos diseñando sus propias cometas y se emocionaron mucho al salir a volarlas. Fue un día lleno de sonrisas, creatividad y diversión al aire libre! 🪁

Happy 100th Day of School! Mrs. Macaluso's class had a great time celebrating. We counted cereal by 10's and made a necklace and then had pizza for our snack! ¡Feliz día número 100 de clases! La clase de la Sra. Macaluso se lo pasó muy bien celebrando. ¡Contamos el cereal por 10 e hicimos un collar y luego comimos pizza para nuestro refrigerio!

Schuyler Public Library is very excited to be hosting a community wide art project on April 18th! We're asking folks to preregister for this free event, so we can prepare materials and snacks.

Mrs. U’s class celebrated St. Patrick’s Day while having fun during Experiment Week! The children explored how magnets work and got creative with our art theme of rainbows and shamrocks. 🌈🍀 It was a week full of discovery, creativity, and smiles! La clase de la Sra. U celebró el Día de San Patricio mientras se divertía durante la Semana de Experimentos. Los niños exploraron cómo funcionan los imanes y fueron creativos con nuestro tema de arte de arcoíris y tréboles. 🌈🍀 ¡Fue una semana llena de descubrimiento, creatividad y sonrisas!

ATTENTION: Soccer schedule change.
Due to a last minute forfeit by one of the visiting teams, Schuyler will not be playing its first game on Saturday, March 21. Instead, the Warriors will be awarded a victory for their 10:00 game and will be playing only their 12:00 game. Thank you for your understanding! Go Warriors!!

Miss. Alarcon’s class had a great time celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day! We made fun hats, enjoyed green soda floats with Lucky Charms, and got creative making our own animals. The students shared what they created and practiced counting their animals’ legs too! Such a fun day full of creativity, learning, and smiles 💚🌈 ¡La clase de Miss. Alarcon se divirtió mucho celebrando Saint Patrick’s Day! 🍀 Hicimos sombreros divertidos, disfrutamos de flotantes de soda verde con Lucky Charms y también creamos animales muy creativos. Cada estudiante compartió lo que creó y practicó contando cuántas patas tenía su animal. ¡Fue un día lleno de creatividad, aprendizaje y diversión! 💚🌈✨

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Mrs. Macaluso's little leprechauns! We worked on following directions and working together to make beautiful rainbows! Feliz St. ¡Día de San Patricio de los pequeños duendes de la Sra. Macaluso! ¡Trabajamos en seguir las instrucciones y trabajar juntos para hacer hermosos arcoíris!

Mrs. Lopez’s class had such a fun week celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ We worked together to set up a trap to try and catch a sneaky leprechaun and had an exciting day seeing if we were successful. We also got creative by spelling our names to make beautiful rainbows, practicing our letters in a fun and meaningful way. 🌈 The students used their imaginations to create their own unique creatures and shared all about them—telling us what their creature was and how many legs it had! It was a week full of creativity, learning, and lots of fun with friends! La clase de la Sra. López tuvo una semana muy divertida celebrando el Día de San Patricio! ☘️ Trabajamos juntos para preparar una trampa para atrapar a un travieso duende y disfrutamos mucho viendo si lo logramos. También nos pusimos creativos al escribir nuestros nombres para formar hermosos arcoíris, practicando nuestras letras de una manera divertida y significativa. 🌈 Los estudiantes usaron su imaginación para crear sus propias criaturas únicas y compartieron sobre ellas, contándonos qué eran y cuántas patas tenían. Fue una semana llena de creatividad, aprendizaje y mucha diversión con amigos!
