Attention all SCS Subs:

Attention Parents and Students: SCHS Open House will be held on Monday, August 12th from 3-8:00 PM. A parent meeting will be held in the auditorium at 6:00 PM. We encourage all families to come to the high school to fill out paperwork, pay fees, pick up schedules, and meet the staff. There will also be an Open House at the District Office building at 6:30 PM to kick off our new CNA program in partnership with CHI Health and Central Community College. We would love to see you there!

The SCS Field House will be closed on Monday 8/12-Wednesday 8/14 as staff & students prepare for the new school year. It will resume regular school year hours at 6pm on Thursday 8/15.

Come meet your teachers and check out your school.

Schuyler Public Library Book Walk

Back to School Haircut Day was a huge success.

Today at our elementary school, we had a situation where a student was thought to be missing. The principals and their team immediately put the school in Secure Mode (no one allowed in or out of the building) and a count of all students was taken in that grade level. Additionally, all spaces in the building and outside were checked as well. I am happy to report that in the end no students were missing and everyone was where they should be. I want to applaud the elementary administrators and their amazing staff for taking immediate action to ensure that all our students were safe and accounted for. During the first few days of school, while staff are getting to know their students and our young Warriors are getting used to their routines, confusion can occur. We have an amazing group of caring and hard working staff and I thank them for erring on the side of caution. I also want to thank our Schuyler Police for their immediate response and assistance as we work through this situation. Bret Schroder, Superintendent
