Fifth grade students in Mrs. Recinos's class taught their peers how to add and subtract fractions with common denominators today. This allowed them to activate their background knowledge as well as apply new learning. Great work, kids!

Bringing home some hardware! Rafa Carvajal placed 6th in Super Smash Bros & 4th in Chess! Toby is bringing home a bronze finish in Super Smash Bros! Cain Gutierrez competed well today and set a bar for next season!! Great job to all of the players in Schuyler Esports this season!

Esports Coach and school resource officer Cheyne Terrell and senior Toby Velez watch as Cain Gutierrez and Rafa Carvajal play a practice round of Super Smash Bros ahead of today's State Tournament at Midland University in Fremont. Cain dealt the winning hit in that particular round, as you may be able to tell from Rafa's reaction. Don't worry too much though, Rafa has been holding his own this season. Cain, Rafa, and Toby will all compete this afternoon for the state Smash Bros title. It's a great day to be a Schuyler e-Warrior!!!
