It’s time to sign up for Summer EBT!
Dear parents and families,
We're reaching out to share important information about the Summer EBT program. It’s just one program that can help families access healthy food over the summer.
What is Summer EBT?
Summer EBT provides an extra $120 per school-aged child for groceries during summer break. Last year, this program helped over 175,000 Nebraskan children access nutritious food while they were out of school!
Check to see if you’re eligible for Summer EBT
You are eligible if your household is at or under 185% of federal poverty guidelines. Most eligible families on SNAP, ADC, FDPIR, or Medicaid are automatically enrolled, but others (like you!) may qualify too. Check here bit.ly/NE-SEBT-eligibilitychecker to see if you are eligible and need to sign up. It’s quick and easy.

Summer EBT works alongside other programs like Summer Meals to ensure Nebraskan children have access to nutritious food year-round. If you need help with an application, the Food Bank for the Heartland offers support in English and Spanish at 1-855-444-5556.

For the SECOND DAY IN A ROW, the 8th girls 4x100 broke the school record! Grace Svatora, Kaylev Chavez, Cierra Novotny, and Alizon Morales ran a 53.9 today! These ladies are on fire!!!🔥

Today the SMS girls 4x800 beat their own record set at the home meet by 10 seconds with a time of 11:35.25!

Congratulations to Talon Andel on singing with Platte Valley John Deere yesterday. Talon will attend Lake Area Technical College in South Dakota this Fall. Great work!
RECORD ALERT!!
Our girls 8th grade 4x100 of Grace Svatora, Kaylev Chavez, Cierra Novotny, and Alizon Morales broke the record of 55.0 set all the way in 1980, with a time of 54.07 in Fremont today!

Central Conference Champions 2-1 win over Lexington! Great job boys!
Due to Schuyler Elementary not being in session this week, there will be a change to our bussing schedule. We will run two busses, both from Lonnie'sTrailer Court as usual, one bus will drop off at the High School and the other bus will drop off at the Middle School. Afternoon return routes will only deliver back to Lonnie's Trailer Court. There will be no bussing to and from the Preschool this week.
