SCHUYLER, Neb. (Oct. 2025)—As Areli Arellano finished her last year in Schuyler girls’ golf, she gave some insight on her thoughts to end her golf career.
Q: What is it like being in Schuyler Girls’ Golf?
A: “It has been a journey since the first day I started sophomore year. I have learned a lot, especially with my Coach Hall. She has taught me that golf is more mental than physical. She says you have to have mental toughness.”
Q: How do these activities affect you, personally?
A: “I enjoy being in golf because it has calmed me down, and I can take it out on golf. It helps me to relax.”
Q: How have your years of golf been like in total?
A: “It has been nothing but positive and honestly and honestly I miss the girls I used to golf with because they taught me a lot.”
Q: What would you say to newly joined members?
A: “That you will feel welcomed. It will feel like a second home. The girls there are as positive as they can be and if you are struggling they can help you out.”
Q: How would you describe the team’s atmosphere in one word?
A: “I would definitely say joyful.”
