Mr. James Kasik

Welcome to Schuyler Community Schools. I am Jim Kasik, the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Schuyler High School. I am a proud 1984 graduate of Schuyler High School and this will be my 29th year in education. I spent 27 years as an Industrial Technology teacher, while coaching football for 10 years and the head wrestling coach for 22 years. During this time I also spent 5 years as a half-time Athletic Director and half-time Teacher. I have two master degrees, one in Secondary Education (Ind. Tech.) and one in Administration. My wife and I have raised our family in this district and I believe my experiences in this district give me a great foundation to make positive educational decisions. I view my job as one of leadership and support for our staff to inspire our students to be successful both today and tomorrow.
